Spanish to install the system and start using it at once. Not only can it be

users to move around the room while talking on the phone. Venture's full duplex
handsfree operation with echo canceling and no clipping sets the standard,

Superior Sound Quality. With
Nortel's new AudioEdge, the voice on the other end of your Venture telephone
sounds as if it's in the same room! This breakthrough in handsfree technology
uses digital signal processing and a tiny "ported" loudspeaker, which
delivers the sound quality of a much larger speaker.
Built-in Handsfree Intercom. The
Venture system lets users intercom other phones in the system without picking up
the handset. Digital bandwidth signaling offers five channels on a single pair
of wire, so users can make two intercom calls and one outside call—
simultaneously!
Transferring Calls. With the
Venture system, users can transfer a call to another phone in the system for
lightning-fast coordination.
Paging. Users can communicate with
one or all phones in the system at the same time or to an overhead loudspeaker
paging device. It's indispensable for small businesses that have multiple
departments, or where personnel work outside of the main office and must be
paged.
Privacy Protection. If a user
picks up a line already in use, he or she is not automatically connected to the
call. Instead, the user on the line is alerted and a prompt appears in the
display asking if the additional party wants to join the call or choose another
line.
A 200-Name and Number Directory stores
numbers you can access and dial in seconds. Each telephone has four
directories one that can be shared with others on the system, three that are
private. Great for small business who want to share a business directory, yet
offer employees an easy way to store their own contacts" names and numbers
as well as have a personal directory.
200-Name and Number Call Log
stores up to 200 different incoming or call waiting calls, with the time they
called, the number of times each call was made, and the number of new calls
since the log was last checked. Users can access this log and return calls with
the touch of a button!
Customized System. The Venture
system allows users to customize up to 30 options, including passwords, toll
restrictions, connection to external pagers, and much more.
Cord Management simplifies
installation and gives the desktop a clean look. How? By storing multiple line
and power cords in a single adapter and allowing just a single cord to reach the
desktop telephone.
Eight Memory Keys and Action Key.
Making internal and external calls has never been easier! Users can program
eight memory keys with access codes for network services or use them to
speed-dial other important numbers. Memory keys can also act as busy station
lamps. The Action Key lets the user dial a number from any list by clicking on
the name.
The Alerter Light indicates an
incoming call, a message waiting, or if certain features are turned on.
The Backlit Display with Wider Viewing
Cone makes the display screen really pop— reading a display has never been
easier!
Angled or Wall Mounted. Users can
angle the Venture three-line telephone for easy use while sitting or standing.

Automatic Power Fail to POTS on Line
